William L. Hendricks
Col. USMCR (Ret.)

Born in Grand Prairie, Texas and is married to former Diane L. Tallent and now residing in Burbank, California.

Writer and producer of many award-winning documentary films, including the Marine Corps' A Force in Readiness, which received an Academy Award; The John Glenn Story, nominated for an Academy Award; A Free People, Chris Award; This is U.S. EUCOM, Chris Award; The Story of Old Glory, Freedoms Foundation Award. Others were Seapower, The Land We Love, Freedom and You, The FBI, Scenes To Remember, Hollywood Star Spangled Revue, Red Nightmare and One Giant Leap.

Colonel, U.S. Marine Corps Reserve (Ret.) commanded USMC Reserve Public Affairs Unit, Santa Monica, California. He was originator and one of the three founders of Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. He was awarded the Legion of Merit in 1969 by General Leonard F. Chapman, Jr., Commandant, U.S. Marine Corps.

Bill Hendricks is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science, Television Academy of Arts and Sciences, Screen Publicists, Writers Guild of America/West and ASCAP.
